Control Systems EIT/Designer (SCADA/PLC)

Salary: $65,000–$89,000 per year

What you will do

• Participate in the design of complex supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems.
• Assist with selecting and specifying process instrumentation, control panels, and network equipment.
• Develop accurate, biddable instrumentation and control system construction documents.
• Assist with developing automation software applications for programmable logic controllers (PLC) and human-machine interfaces (HMI).
• Support system testing and commissioning activities.
• Complete defined engineering assignments independently on small projects and support senior engineers on larger projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Active participation in an employee-owned, collaborative culture.
• Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is preferred; candidates without an EIT may join as Control Systems Designers and are expected to obtain it for career progression.
