Control Systems Developer I

Location: United States; regular in-office presence required. The role may be based at any hirify.global office in the U.S., with particular interest in candidates near Kansas City, Omaha, or St. Louis. Travel up to 35% is required for system installations and plant start-ups, including possible overnight shifts.

What you will do

• Design, program, and implement automated control systems for industrial applications.
• Configure, install, and troubleshoot PC/PLC hardware, software, and customer networks.
• Support system installation and commissioning at client sites.
• Provide in-house and on-site training for customer operators.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, partners, clients, and project leadership to deliver control-system solutions.
• Provide occasional after-hours support and maintain confidentiality of client information.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Computer Studies, Instrumentation and Controls, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience or capability in automated control systems and PC/PLC environments.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and solve technical problems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, with mechanical inclination.
• Ability to maintain a regular in-office presence and travel up to 35%.
