Lead Technician

Location: Lawton, Oklahoma, United States; variable schedule with occasional travel.

What you will do

• Perform commercial and residential installations, repairs, service termination, and relocation of existing equipment.
• Use electronic test equipment to troubleshoot service drops, outlets, and reception performance issues.
• Diagnose and repair problems across the HFC network, from customer-owned equipment to the output.
• Train new Field and Senior Field Technicians and other Lead Technicians as directed.
• Inspect and evaluate completed field work while providing leadership on installation and network maintenance.

Requirements

• One-year certificate from a college or technical school, three to four years of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination.
• Completion of Cable One technical training courses through Senior Field Technician and Advanced Technician, where applicable.
• Completion of the Leadership and Supervisory Skills course within one year of becoming a Lead Technician.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Ability to work a variable schedule and travel occasionally.
