Field Technician

Location: Rio Rancho, New Mexico, United States; onsite field work

What you will do

• Install customer service drops and outlets in residential and commercial properties.
• Complete repairs and relocate existing customer equipment.
• Use RF, digital, and Volt-Ohm meters and online diagnostic tools to troubleshoot service and reception issues.
• Verify upstream and downstream signal levels and determine optimal signal routing.
• Suggest service upgrades and educate customers on new or existing equipment.
• Work overtime and on-call shifts as needed to support customers.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and good driving record in the state of application.
• Ability to learn and use electronic test equipment and online diagnostic tools.
• At least three months of customer service or related experience and/or training.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work in small and confined areas, lift up to 100 pounds, climb ladders, and work in all weather conditions.
• Problem-solving, listening, and customer communication skills with regular and predictable attendance.
