Principal Consultant - Gas & LNG (EMEA)

What you will do

• Lead complex commercial and strategic consulting engagements from project planning through client delivery.
• Structure hypotheses, project plans, storyboards, analytical approaches, and client-ready outputs.
• Coordinate research analysts, data analysts, and subject-matter specialists while managing timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communication.
• Build specialist expertise in gas and LNG markets across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and global markets.
• Coach and mentor consultants and collaborate with adjacent energy-sector teams on integrated value-chain perspectives.
• Convert client conversations into well-scoped proposals and contribute to business development and intellectual property.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, statistics, engineering, or a similar discipline.
• At least 8 years of professional experience, including meaningful experience at a top-tier strategy or management consulting firm or comparable energy-focused advisory firm.
• Energy-sector experience with exposure to gas and LNG, plus a strong interest in developing deeper sector expertise.
• Strong structured problem-solving, quantitative analysis, project or workstream management, and senior stakeholder engagement skills.
• Clear client-facing communication skills, including the ability to distill complex analysis into a concise point of view.
• Existing relationships across the EMEA energy market and commercial acumen are highly valued.

• Master’s degree or MBA.
• Additional language skills.
