Managing Consultant - E&U - Design Engineering and Science (Energy Transition)

Location: Melbourn, Hertfordshire, United Kingdom. Hybrid working requires time in the office or on client site a minimum of 2 days per week, with some assignments requiring up to 5 days per week on client site.

What you will do

• Shape and launch new service propositions while supporting strategic growth in the Energy Transition sector.
• Lead business development initiatives, build senior client relationships, and own commercial outcomes.
• Advise clients on the development and deployment of sustainable and negative emissions technologies.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams delivering scientific and engineering solutions across Carbon Capture, Sustainable Fuels, Electrification, and Water.
• Coach team members, share knowledge, and create opportunities for professional growth.

Requirements

• Significant experience leading complex science or engineering development and advisory services in the Energy Transition sector.
• Proven consulting and commercial experience in a consultancy or equivalent internal advisory role.
• Strong client relationship management and business development skills, including a track record of initiating and winning work.
• Experience in at least one of these value chains: Carbon Capture, Sustainable Fuels, Electrification, or Water.
• Established network of senior decision-makers and potential clients across the Energy Transition sector.
