Global Project Manager US Engineering (Pharmaceutical Engineering)

Location: Pennsville, New Jersey, United States; travel to various sites is required as needed for project oversight.

Salary: $150,000–$200,000 annually, plus a performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Lead the definition, organization, execution, and close-out of multiple capital investment projects in a CDMO environment.
• Develop customer and business ideas into executable project packages from feasibility through operational qualification.
• Coordinate internal and external delivery teams and manage at least one EPCM relationship.
• Control project budgets, schedules, scope changes, and their financial and timeline impact.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams of engineers and external designers while supporting technical development.
• Ensure safe, compliant delivery under governmental regulations, cGMP, SHE requirements, hirify.global standards, and Responsible Care principles.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant life sciences discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 8–12 years of experience in a chemical plant or pharmaceutical CDMO environment.
• Experience managing a capital portfolio exceeding $50 million and capital expenditures.
• Hands-on knowledge of FEL 1/2/3 project methodologies, project controls, EPCM scope definition, and EPCM partner selection.
• Thorough knowledge of pharmaceutical API development and matrix-based team management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, initiative, and the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel.

Nice to have

• PMP certification or an equivalent professional certification such as a PE license.
• Knowledge of CQV and cGMP/ICH Q7A standards.
