Facility Project Manager (Pharmaceutical Facilities)

Location: Pennington, New Jersey, United States

Estimated annual pay range: $100,000–$130,000, depending on experience and skill set.

hirify.global is a biotechnology company providing research and development services and biological building blocks for healthcare and life sciences. ProBio, a hirify.global subsidiary, provides end-to-end CDMO services for plasmids, antibodies, and cell and gene therapies.

What you will do

• Coordinate and oversee facility outside services, engineering, and construction capital projects ranging from $50,000 to $30 million.
• Direct project teams, track action items, maintain schedules, and manage staffing requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead bidding, vendor selection, contracting, purchase orders, change orders, and capital budget management.
• Coordinate with engineering firms, construction contractors, equipment vendors, CQV consultants, landlords, government offices, and internal departments.
• Prepare project updates and budget release presentations for upper management.
• Manage controlled drawings, physical verification, redlines, qualification documentation, site security clearances, badges, and incident resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• Experience managing facility and construction projects in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience with project management and engineering practices, estimating, bidding, and contract negotiations.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes for plasmid DNA and viral vectors in the cell and gene therapy industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• PMP or a similar project management certification.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Project.
