Customer Support Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Onsite in Nanzi District, Kaohsiung City, Taiwan; the role supports customer sites across the Taiwan region and may require domestic and international travel of up to 60%.

Salary: NT$942,999.64–NT$1,275,823.04 TWD

What you will do

• Install, modify, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on Brooks equipment and systems.
• Isolate complex equipment malfunctions, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Check and approve the operational quality of system equipment.
• Instruct customers in system operation and maintenance.
• Act as a technical and administrative liaison between customers and internal sales, support, and engineering teams.
• Coordinate work direction for other service engineers and installation support when serving as a local, shift, or site engineer.

Requirements

• Associate’s, bachelor’s, or master’s degree in mechanical, electrical, electronic, or a related engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Intermediate English proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
• Structured troubleshooting skills, including root-cause analysis and independent problem resolution.
• Proficiency with PCs, Windows-based operating systems, and standard software for reports, presentations, and activity documentation.
• Ability to work onsite in a clean room while wearing a full clean room suit, travel as needed, and participate in emergency on-call work.
