Application Engineer (Industrial Equipment): Installing, commissioning, and troubleshooting application equipment in Taipei with an accent on mechanical and electrical systems integration, PLC controls, and equipment reliability. Focus on testing, calibration, performance validation, fault diagnosis, and resolving on-site operational problems.

Location: Taipei, Taipei City, Taiwan; onsite, full-time

What you will do

Install and set up application equipment at customer sites.
Commission equipment through testing, calibration, and performance validation.
Troubleshoot equipment faults and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control-system issues.
Provide technical support during equipment operation and resolve on-site problems.
Coordinate with AT, CT, CE, and Sales teams to support project execution.
Contribute to continuous improvement of equipment performance and reliability.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
Understanding of mechanical and electrical systems integration.
Experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting, and control systems, including Siemens or Allen-Bradley.
Hands-on experience installing and commissioning industrial equipment.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to work independently and under pressure.
Fluent spoken and written English required.
