Maintenance Engineer - Electrical (Industrial Electrical Maintenance): Maintaining and troubleshooting electrical and related instrumentation equipment at a production facility with an accent on preventive maintenance, plant operations, and equipment reliability. Focus on supporting 24/7 emergency maintenance, commissioning projects, major shutdowns, and complex power distribution and control systems.

What you will do
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, equipment modifications, and reliability improvements for electrical and related instrumentation systems.
- Provide scheduled, unscheduled, and emergency maintenance support for safe and reliable plant operations, including 24/7 coverage.
- Maintain and troubleshoot substations, motors, protective relays, switchgear, MCCs, UPS systems, VFDs, transformers, generators, electrical heaters, lighting, and battery charger systems.
- Support new project commissioning, major shutdowns, plant operations, and Mechanical Integrity activities.
- Coordinate or supervise contractor work and collaborate with operations and maintenance teams across the facility.
- Maintain accurate equipment documentation and history databases, prepare technical reports, and complete weekly time reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, BS diploma, or 2- or 3-year ITE technical program in electrical engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience.
- Hands-on electrical maintenance and troubleshooting experience.
- Experience supporting major shutdowns, project work, plant operations, and maintenance activities.
- Ability to comply with and local safety, health, and environmental standards, including mandatory safety training and meetings.
- Willingness to provide 24/7 scheduled, unscheduled, and emergency maintenance support.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of vendor contracts and regional shop support.
- Experience coordinating contractors in facility or workshop environments.
