Apartment Community Manager (Property Management)

Location: Jacksonville, Florida, USA; on-site at the apartment community

Salary: $65,000–$75,000 per year plus a 15% target bonus opportunity and commissions for new leases and renewals.

What you will do

• Lead and develop a team of at least two direct reports.
• Direct apartment community operations, leasing, maintenance coordination, and resident service.
• Manage the property budget, increase revenue, and achieve operational and financial goals.
• Use sales processes and performance metrics to drive leasing and renewal results.
• Ensure adherence to legal standards, company policies, and service expectations.

Requirements

• At least four years of experience in sales, customer service, and asset management, ideally in property management or a comparable industry.
• At least two years of leadership experience in property management and two to four years of experience leading teams in sales and customer service environments.
• Proven ability to mentor and coach diverse team members.
• General understanding of financials and budgets.
• Knowledge of property management systems and tools such as Entrata, OneSite, SmartRent, or Salesforce.
• Florida Real Estate License preferred, or willingness to obtain one within six months; reliable transportation required.
