Salary: $96,000–$144,000 per year

What you will do

  • Lead procurement and pursuit of renewable power generation projects and client opportunities.
  • Develop scopes of work, support proposals, and manage moderate to complex geotechnical engineering projects.
  • Build and manage a high-performing team through mentorship, technical guidance, and leadership.
  • Develop client relationships, support contract negotiations, and manage project, client, and business risks.
  • Prepare geotechnical engineering reports, perform engineering analyses, and provide practical professional opinions.
  • Review staff analyses and reports, coordinate regional resources, and resolve quality issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in geotechnical engineering, civil engineering, or a related engineering field.
  • Professional Engineer registration or licensure, with the ability to obtain licenses in multiple additional states.
  • At least 5 years of power or renewable-energy geotechnical engineering experience.
  • Strong communication, analytical, organizational, customer service, and leadership skills.
  • Working knowledge of geology, geologic stability, and performance mechanisms.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint; valid driver’s license and clean driving history required.

Nice to have

  • Experience with large-scale construction projects.
  • Experience in a consulting firm.
  • Existing client relationships that can support business development.
