Director, Network Operating Rules - Digital Assets

Location: Hybrid in Scottsdale, San Francisco, Chicago, New York, Phoenix, or Washington, DC; candidates must be independently eligible to work in the United States.

Salary: $154,000–$193,000 per year in Phoenix, Chicago, or Washington, DC; $186,000–$232,000 per year in New York or San Francisco. Additional discretionary incentive plan and benefits may apply.

What you will do

• Lead the development and maintenance of operating rules, product standards, and governance requirements for products, services, processing models, and strategic initiatives.
• Partner with Product, Operations, Technology, Risk, Legal, and Compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
• Design governance frameworks covering approvals, change management, decision forums, exception management, and supporting documentation.
• Monitor industry and regulatory developments and incorporate relevant changes into rules, standards, and processes.
• Provide guidance to internal departments, customers, and business partners on interpreting and applying operating rules.
• Manage publication of operating rules, change notifications, product standards, technical specifications, and related customer-facing documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in financial services, payments, network operations, operating rules, product governance, compliance, or a related area.
• Strong understanding of payments, financial services, and product governance.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and build cross-functional partnerships.
• Strong analytical, communication, presentation, organizational, and collaboration skills.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States for any employer at the date of hire; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• MBA or similar advanced degree.
• Experience developing operating rules, governance frameworks, or product standards for payments, financial services, or technology platforms.
