Director, Policy Governance (Healthcare)

Location: Remote - Minnesota, United States

Salary: $211,600–$290,950 annually for US applicants, including base pay and variable incentive pay if eligible.

What you will do

• Create and oversee a centralized structure and searchable repository for corporate policies.
• Lead cross-functional policy governance with Legal, Compliance, HR, IT, Finance, and business unit leaders.
• Manage processes for updating and retiring policies in response to business, legal, and regulatory changes.
• Develop communication strategies that help employees understand and follow applicable policies.
• Identify policy gaps that may create legal, financial, or reputational risk and develop proactive solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law, Business Administration, Public Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive corporate experience in corporate governance, legal, compliance, human resources, ethics and compliance, or a related discipline.
• Significant experience developing, implementing, or managing corporate policies and governance frameworks.
• Experience leading cross-functional policy initiatives and translating complex regulatory or business requirements into practical guidance.
• Ability to advise senior leaders on policy, governance, compliance, and risk while balancing business objectives.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.

• JD, MBA, or another master’s degree.
• Project management experience and exceptional organizational skills.
• Experience with policy management, governance, compliance, or HR systems and tools.
• Healthcare industry experience or experience in a related field.
• Strong learning agility, resilience, and comfort with ambiguity.
