Director of Trading & Platform Operations (Fintech)

Location: Chicago, IL, United States

Salary: $170,000–$210,000 base salary per year, plus performance-based bonus.

hirify.global operates a proprietary trading platform and provides regulated trading, brokerage, and platform support services.

What you will do

• Oversee real-time Trade Desk and Platform Support Desk execution, coverage schedules, escalations, and high-volume client workflows.
• Manage payment processing, funding and withdrawals, KYC/onboarding approvals, and customer communications.
• Own the operational support experience for the proprietary trading platform and coordinate resolution of bugs, outages, and system errors with Engineering, Product, and Technology.
• Monitor margin, liquidation, order-rejection, and execution controls with the Director of Risk.
• Coordinate daily operational processes, margin updates, trade-error resolution, reporting, and system changes with FCM and clearing partners.
• Lead cross-functional readiness activities, including security, third-party provider, business continuity, and disaster recovery testing.

Requirements

• Series 3 license required; Series 30 license preferred or willingness to obtain it.
• At least 7 years of trading operations, brokerage, or platform support experience in an NFA/CFTC-regulated environment.
• Leadership experience managing live Trade Desks, Platform Support, or high-volume FinTech Operations teams.
• Experience working with an FCM on trading operations, regulatory requirements, and brokerage processes.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks, live-market risk management, supervisory practices, and scalable operational processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
