Director of Enterprise Resilience (Healthcare)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States

Base pay: $133,400–$247,700 annually, plus eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Lead strategic initiatives, implementation, and governance for enterprise business resilience and crisis management.
• Align resiliency programs with emerging risks, regulatory requirements, and evolving business lines.
• Conduct business impact analyses and lead operational risk management, contingency planning, and continuity planning.
• Manage response to complex cybersecurity, privacy, physical security, facilities, and business operations disruptions.
• Support mergers and acquisitions by preventing operational disruption during integration activities.
• Develop training materials, business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and technology solutions for crisis management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of experience in business continuity and/or crisis management.
• At least 4 years of management experience and 6 years of leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of business continuity, crisis management, operational risk, and contingency planning.
• Technical aptitude for managing cybersecurity and privacy incidents that disrupt business operations.
• Experience with compliance-based tools and processes, data and information management, analytics, research, and standardization or automation.
• Ability to collaborate with and coach executive leadership, lead teams, and communicate effectively.

Nice to have

• Extensive business continuity and crisis management experience.
• Audit experience and policy development or review experience.
• Industry certifications such as CISA, HCISPP, or Six Sigma.
• Healthcare industry experience or an MBA.
