Director, Strategy - New Business Development

Location: Marysville, Ohio, United States

Salary: $175,700–$206,700 per year, plus eligibility for corporate bonus programs.

What you will do

• Identify, cultivate, and develop relationships with potential target firms and strategic partners.
• Design, test, and scale business models aligned with company values and evolving home, lawn, and garden markets.
• Drive post-merger integration, including workflow mapping, project management, and cultural change management.
• Oversee and guide Business Development Managers across M&A, licensing and strategic partnerships, and direct-to-consumer portfolio expansion.
• Collaborate with the AI Intelligence team and M&A team, including monthly Sync-and-Accelerate meetings.

Requirements

• Experience in end-to-end business development and relationship development.
• Ability to architect, test, and scale sustainable business models.
• Experience leading integration activities, project management, and organizational change.
• Ability to lead a business development portfolio covering M&A, licensing, strategic partnerships, and DTC expansion.
