Transmission Line EIT/Coordinator (Power Transmission)

Location: Denver, Colorado, United States; position based in the Denver office. Some field work and travel may be required.

Salary: $76,483–$96,800 per year.

What you will do

• Execute technical aspects and deliverables for assigned transmission line projects.
• Develop technical requirements for basic to moderately complex power transmission line projects.
• Prepare plan-and-profile documents, specifications, drawings, and other engineering documentation.
• Use PLS-CADD and perform structure analysis and project cost estimates.
• Support project optimization and transmission line design activities.
• Work with senior staff members through assigned tasks and structured mentoring.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate preferred; candidates without an EIT may enter as Design Coordinators and are expected to obtain the certificate for career progression.
• Computer skills in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC).
• Experience with PLS-CADD, structure analysis, cost estimates, plan-and-profile preparation, specifications, and drawings for power transmission line projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm is preferred.
