Mechanical Assembler (Modular Buildings)

Location: Dallas, Texas, United States; onsite production-floor work

Builds customized power distribution and protection systems, including relay and control panels, medium-voltage switchgear, enclosures, and modular power/control buildings.

What you will do

• Review blueprints, wiring drawings, schematics, engineering diagrams, procedures, and work instructions.
• Assemble and install panel boards, HVAC units, battery systems, electrical devices, and conduit for enclosure buildings.
• Use hand tools and power tools, including drills, impact drivers, screwdrivers, and grinders.
• Perform quality checks, identify defects, and record and report nonconformities.
• Maintain workstation inventory and a clean, safe production area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in assembly or manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret written instructions, blueprints, wiring drawings, schematics, and engineering diagrams.
• Knowledge of manufacturing, equipment maintenance, safety management, tools, measurements, and basic mathematics.
• Ability to safely operate powered equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, scissor lifts, and overhead cranes.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, perform repetitive tasks, lift or move up to 35 pounds, and wear required PPE.
