Pest Control Consultant

Location: Scottsdale, Arizona, United States; travel up to 100% within assigned territories

What you will do

• Inspect residential properties for pests, harborage areas, entry points, and related issues.
• Consult with customers and sell pest control solutions, preventative maintenance, and service enhancements.
• Develop customer proposals and follow up on previous proposals to close sales.
• Collaborate with the Customer Service Center, Inside Sales, technicians, and the Branch Manager to identify and develop sales opportunities.
• Create home diagrams and record daily activities and sales performance in the company CRM.
• Provide product expertise during new service installations and travel throughout the assigned territory.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license from the current state of residence.
• Strong social, customer service, and communication skills.
• Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle and work in residential properties, including basements, crawl spaces, attics, and other confined spaces.
• Ability to lift and reposition up to 10 pounds regularly and 11–20 pounds frequently, and perform climbing, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and related physical activities.
• Comfort working with pests and using personal protective equipment, including OSHA-compliant respirators when required.

Nice to have

• One to two years of pest technician or sales experience.
• Sales-related experience or training.
