Senior Data Analyst (Healthcare)

Location: Chicago, United States

Salary: $80,000–$115,000 annually for Chicago; $90,000–$125,000 for New York and California. Compensation may vary for Colorado, Illinois, and New York.

What you will do

• Develop clinical data models with dbt and SQL based on analytical, business, interoperability, and data delivery requirements.
• Create reports, KPI metrics, visualizations, and central-monitoring outputs for clinical study performance.
• Build data automation pipelines and post-processing routines for analysis-ready datasets.
• Support data integration across data marts, including de-identification of protected health information.
• Maintain, validate, and document code and data workflows according to best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in analytics or consulting within or supporting life sciences or healthcare.
• Strong SQL skills and proficiency with R or Python.
• Experience with business intelligence software such as Looker.
• Background in oncology, cancer genomics, molecular biology, or clinical trials.
• Experience cleaning, manipulating, visualizing, and interpreting data from multiple disorganized sources.
• Ability to communicate with diverse audiences, own deliverables, manage ambiguity, and handle multiple projects.
