Lead Operations/Quality Tech (Manufacturing)

Location: Jefferson, Georgia, United States; onsite at the AMG ASU facility

What you will do

• Guide and sustain EPA, FDA, food safety, SQF, HACCP, SOP, and other regulatory compliance programs.
• Coordinate customer and third-party quality or food safety audits, investigate quality complaints, and implement corrective measures.
• Maintain product specifications, control specifications, processes, technical documentation, files, and regulatory records.
• Deliver GMP, safety, regulatory, and operational excellence training for plant personnel.
• Conduct mock product recalls and participate in safety incident and near-miss reviews using root cause analysis.
• Support maintenance of instrumentation, electrical systems, compressors, pumps, turbines, valves, motors, and related environmental, safety, quality, and FDA compliance systems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and at least 3 years of quality assurance experience in a processing environment.
• Working knowledge of food safety programs, including SQF and HACCP.
• Advanced understanding of air separation, refrigeration, carbon dioxide, and associated technologies.
• Practical understanding of electrical principles, basic mechanical maintenance, modern maintenance programs, and asset management systems.
• Fundamental knowledge of manufacturing safety regulations, laws, certifications, and standards, including OSHA, EPA, DOT, and DHS requirements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to write technical procedures and policies in English.

• Technical degree.
• Industrial plant operations experience.
