Manager, Quality (Manufacturing)

Location: Longview, Texas, United States. On-site work across office and manufacturing environments, with occasional travel between company locations or customer and supplier sites.

What you will do

• Lead quality assurance and quality control activities across manufacturing operations.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems, policies, procedures, documentation, and work instructions.
• Monitor quality metrics and trends, identify improvement opportunities, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead investigations of product and process nonconformances and facilitate root cause analysis.
• Coordinate internal, external, customer, and supplier quality audits and compliance activities.
• Hire, train, coach, counsel, and evaluate direct reports while promoting continuous improvement and accountability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment, including 2+ years of leadership experience, or equivalent education and experience.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, auditing practices, continuous improvement methodologies, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions.
• Knowledge of industry quality standards, regulatory requirements, and compliance principles.
• Strong data analysis, leadership, organizational, project management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work throughout manufacturing and office environments, inspect products and documentation, use personal protective equipment, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a related discipline.
• Professional certification in quality management, continuous improvement, or quality systems.
• HVAC manufacturing experience.
