What you will do

  • Support sales objectives, customer retention, product conversions, and market-share goals in the assigned territory.
  • Guide surgeons in the operating room and demonstrate the proper use of DePuy Synthes products.
  • Attend surgeries, ensure equipment availability and performance, and optimize instrument trays.
  • Provide operating-room and sterile-processing consultation, technical troubleshooting, and customer support.
  • Manage hospital billing, purchase orders, equipment tracking, product deployment, and sales reporting.
  • Share customer and market insights with sales, clinical, marketing, and strategic account teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or an associate degree/medical certification with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or at least 4 years of relevant experience; recently transitioned military personnel may also qualify.
  • Ability to work in a laboratory and operating-room environment.
  • Valid driver’s license issued in the United States.
  • Ability to travel, including possible weekend and overnight travel.
  • Strong interpersonal communication, negotiation, influencing, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and business acumen skills.
  • Organized, self-motivated, positive, proactive, and customer-focused approach.

Nice to have

  • Technical product knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, protocols, and solutions.
  • Experience with account management, solutions selling, healthcare trends, market research, and relationship building.
