Johnson & Johnson MedTech’s Orthopaedics business, including DePuy Synthes, develops surgical and trauma-care solutions for hospitals, surgeons, and patients.

What you will do

  • Support sales objectives, market-share goals, customer retention, and product conversions across the assigned territory.
  • Guide surgeons in the operating room by presenting, demonstrating, and supporting the proper use of trauma products.
  • Attend surgeries and ensure the availability and performance of equipment, including tray optimization.
  • Provide operating-room and sterile-processing consultation, troubleshooting, and technical assistance.
  • Manage customer requests, hospital billing, purchase orders, equipment deployment, and asset tracking.
  • Maintain surgeon and account relationships and share customer, procedural, and market insights with sales, clinical, marketing, and strategic account teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree; alternatively, an associate degree or medical certification with at least 2 years of relevant experience, 4 years of relevant experience, or recent transition from active military duty.
  • Ability to work in a laboratory and operating-room environment.
  • Valid driver’s license issued in the United States.
  • Residence in or willingness to relocate to the South Atlanta territory.
  • Ability to travel, including possible weekend and overnight travel.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, influencing, strategic-thinking, problem-solving, organizational, and business-acumen skills.

Nice to have

  • Technical product knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, protocols, and solutions.
  • Experience in account management, solutions selling, healthcare trends, market research, sales presentations, or relationship building.
