Business Operations Executive (BOE) Director (Semiconductor)

Location: Chelmsford, Massachusetts, United States; work arrangements may include a mix of in-office and remote work depending on role requirements and business needs.

Base salary: $148,351.35–$200,710.65 USD annually, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Serve as the accountability partner to the General Managers of the Atmospheric Solutions and Vacuum Automation business units.
• Run Monthly Business Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews, program reviews, and phase-gate reviews.
• Translate annual operating plans and strategic commitments into measurable OKRs with clear owners.
• Maintain dashboards and reporting for revenue, margins, forecasts, quality, delivery, bookings, and program milestones.
• Track actions, decisions, risks, and commitments through resolution while driving structured problem-solving.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, Sales, Finance, IT, and other functions to align priorities and execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, operations, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in business operations, operational excellence, program or project management, finance, or general management.
• Experience partnering with or supporting senior executives in a complex, matrixed organization.
• Strong business and financial acumen, including P&L, gross margin, forecasting, and operating metrics.
• Experience running operating or governance cadences and leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong executive communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.

Nice to have

• Experience in the semiconductor, capital equipment, or advanced-manufacturing industry.
• Familiarity with NPI, phase-gate, and SIOP processes.
• Experience with structured problem-solving and continuous-improvement methods.
• MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
