Director of Business Operations and Performance

Location: 100% remote for candidates residing in the United States

Salary: $150,000–$200,000 base salary per year, with potential bonus eligibility and comprehensive benefits.

What you will do

• Build and lead the Business Operations & Performance function, including operating rhythms, governance structures, management processes, and leadership dashboards.
• Own sales operations for pipeline management, opportunity progression, forecasting, renewals, revenue performance, and Salesforce-based commercial reporting.
• Lead integrated forecasting and business planning across bookings, revenue, utilization, staffing, margins, profitability, and long-range projections.
• Develop pipeline-to-capacity and workforce planning models covering hiring, resource allocation, utilization, productivity, succession planning, and delivery constraints.
• Establish time-tracking, utilization, profitability, KPI, and performance-management disciplines across clients, projects, products, and business segments.
• Partner with the President and senior leadership on strategic initiatives, business cases, scenario analysis, continuous improvement, and organizational scaling.

Requirements

• Must reside in the United States; the role is 100% remote.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in Business Operations, FP&A, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Consulting Operations, Strategy, or related business management roles.
• Experience supporting senior leadership with forecasting, planning, performance management, and strategic decision-making.
• Strong understanding of professional services economics, resource planning, utilization management, profitability analysis, and financial modeling.
• Experience developing KPI frameworks, dashboards, operating reviews, and management reporting systems.
• Ability to influence across multiple functions without direct authority and communicate effectively with senior leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare consulting, pharmacy benefit management, healthcare technology, analytics, software, or professional services.
• Experience with Salesforce, Power BI, Harvest, Smartsheet, financial planning systems, or business intelligence platforms.
• Experience designing business performance frameworks, KPI architectures, and management systems connecting commercial, operational, workforce, and financial performance.
• MBA or advanced business degree.
