Oracle Cloud ERP Solution Architect (Oracle Cloud Financials)

Location: Chicago, United States; travel up to 50% may be required for client engagements.

Base salary: $160,000–$225,000 per year. Total estimated compensation including annual incentive compensation: $218,750–$303,750.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture and functional design for Oracle Cloud ERP Financials implementations and transformations.
• Define finance transformation strategies, future-state operating models, and optimized processes across core Financials modules.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable solution designs and maintain architecture documentation, specifications, integration, data conversion, and reporting strategies.
• Lead architecture decisions, solution governance, risk mitigation, issue resolution, conference room pilots, validation, testing strategy, and production readiness.
• Coordinate functional consultants, business analysts, technical teams, integration architects, executives, and client stakeholders.
• Support demonstrations, proposals, estimations, client presentations, thought leadership, methodology development, and practice growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
• 8+ years delivering Oracle ERP solutions, including significant Oracle Cloud Financials experience.
• 5+ years leading large-scale Oracle Cloud ERP transformation programs as a Solution Architect, Lead Functional Architect, or Senior Functional Lead.
• Deep expertise in multiple Oracle Cloud Financials modules, including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Expenses, Tax, Financial Reporting, and Revenue Management.
• Experience designing enterprise-wide finance transformation solutions and facilitating executive workshops, solution design sessions, and strategic roadmap discussions.
• Strong knowledge of financial processes, accounting principles, controls, compliance, cross-functional leadership, and executive communication.

Nice to have

• Oracle Cloud ERP Financials certifications.
• Experience integrating Oracle Cloud ERP with third-party applications, data platforms, and reporting solutions.
• Consulting experience in healthcare, higher education, commercial, public sector, or professional services.
• Experience leading global or multi-country Oracle Cloud implementations.
