Manager – Functional Workstream Lead (Workday Financials)

Location: United States; primarily remote, with occasional travel to client sites and Alpha offices required based on project needs.

Salary: $130,000–$160,000 USD annually, plus eligibility for a variable bonus.

What you will do

• Own functional discovery, design, configuration, and implementation for Workday Financials workstreams.
• Lead workshops and document business requirements, decisions, dependencies, and configuration implications.
• Configure FDM, business processes, accounting rules, security-related requirements, and module-specific functionality.
• Manage client relationships, workstream priorities, deliverables, risks, decisions, and deadlines.
• Coordinate data mapping, conversion, functional testing, UAT, defect resolution, cutover, and deployment readiness.
• Review functional deliverables, coordinate with integration and technical teams, and coach junior team members.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Workday Financials implementation experience across multiple end-to-end delivery cycles.
• Hands-on configuration expertise and experience owning a Workday Financials workstream.
• Strong functional design, requirements documentation, workshop facilitation, testing, and workstream planning skills.
• Ability to communicate with finance stakeholders and collaborate across functional and technical teams.
• Active Workday Financial Management / Financials Core certification required.

Nice to have

• Financial services or private markets experience.
• Specialty certification in Procure-to-Pay, Projects, Accounting Center, Expenses, Reporting, or another Workday Financials capability.
