Lead Software Engineer (Oracle Cloud)

Location: Owings Mills, Maryland, United States; hybrid work with up to three days per week from home.

Base salary: $145,000–$247,000 annually for Maryland, Colorado, Washington, and remote workers. Placement depends on relevant experience and skills; discretionary bonus eligibility may apply.

What you will do

• Design and build custom extensions, workflows, and integrations across Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP financial modules.
• Architect secure, scalable integrations and data pipelines using OIC, REST/SOAP APIs, file-based integrations, and event-driven patterns.
• Deliver Oracle ERP and EPM configurations, extensions, financial process automation, data migrations, and reconciliations.
• Develop and optimize OTBI and BI Publisher reports, dashboards, data models, and analytics capabilities.
• Design Oracle APEX applications to improve user experience and automate workflows.
• Lead technical design, code reviews, implementation planning, production support, upgrades, governance, and developer mentoring.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 12+ years of combined IT, software engineering, and ERP experience, including 8+ years focused on Oracle Fusion Financials.
• Strong experience with Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle Cloud ERP modules, Oracle EPM, Oracle APEX, OTBI, and BI Publisher.
• Experience designing integration architectures, data flows, APIs, secure enterprise connectivity, and end-to-end SDLC delivery in Agile environments.
• Strong skills in data modeling, debugging, performance tuning, troubleshooting, production support, and technical communication.
• FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

Nice to have

• Exposure to AI/ML-driven solutions, enterprise copilots, and agent-based workflows.
• Experience with multi-cloud and hybrid architectures across OCI, AWS, and Azure.
• Knowledge of financial processes such as Procure-to-Pay, Financial Close, Reconciliation, and Source-to-Pay.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, automated deployments, large-scale data migrations, and enterprise security controls.
