Location: Columbia and Florence, South Carolina, United States territory; residence in or willingness to relocate to the assigned territory required. The role involves regular hospital and operating-room coverage, equipment movement, and travel including possible weekend and overnight travel.

What you will do

  • Guide and assist surgeons during orthopedic spinal procedures by providing clinical and technical support.
  • Attend surgeries as the company representative and ensure instruments, implants, and equipment are available and functioning.
  • Troubleshoot physician and customer requests while managing hospital billing and purchase orders.
  • Consult with operating rooms and sterile processing departments.
  • Track, maintain, and deploy equipment and assets across the assigned territory.
  • Share customer, procedural, and marketplace insights with sales, clinical, marketing, and strategic account teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or an associate degree/medical certification with at least two years of relevant experience, or at least four years of relevant experience; recently transitioned active-duty military candidates may also qualify.
  • Valid driver’s license issued in the United States.
  • Ability to work in a laboratory and operating-room environment and reside in or relocate to the assigned territory.
  • Ability to travel, including possible weekend and overnight travel.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, influencing, strategic-thinking, problem-solving, and business-acumen skills.
  • Understanding of human anatomy and physiology, with the ability to work independently in a complex matrix environment.

Nice to have

  • Technical product knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, protocols, and solutions.
  • Experience with data analysis and orthopedic surgical products.
