Regional Clinical Sales Specialist, Spine (Western Pennsylvania) - Johnson & Johnson MedTech, Orthopaedics

Location: Pennsylvania, United States; residence in or ability to relocate to the assigned geographic region required. Frequent travel within the U.S., including overnight and weekend travel, is expected.

What you will do

• Guide and assist surgeons during orthopaedic surgical cases by providing clinical and technical support.
• Represent the company in operating rooms, attend surgeries, and ensure the correct equipment is available and functioning.
• Troubleshoot physician and customer needs, manage hospital billing, and build and close purchase orders.
• Share customer, procedural, and marketplace insights with sales, clinical, marketing, and strategic account teams.
• Consult with operating rooms and sterile processing departments while maintaining and tracking equipment and assets.
• Move instruments, implants, and equipment between sales representatives and hospitals and maintain product availability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or an associate degree/medical certification with at least two years of professional experience, or at least four years of professional experience; recently transitioned active military personnel may also qualify.
• Residence in or ability to relocate to the geographic region assigned by the company.
• Ability to travel within the United States as necessary, including frequent overnight and weekend travel.
• Valid driver’s license issued in the United States.
• Ability to work in a laboratory and operating room environment.
• Strong interpersonal communication, influencing, critical thinking, problem-solving, data analysis, prioritization, autonomy, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Functional knowledge of human anatomy and physiology and basic knowledge of surgery.
• Technical product knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, protocols, and solutions.
