Assembly Team Lead - 2nd Shift (HVAC)

Location: Shelby, NC, United States; onsite, Monday–Friday, 2:30pm–10:30pm

What you will do

• Review shop floor paperwork and identify assigned work through SAP, MII, or MES processes.
• Assemble mechanical and electrical finished goods according to drawings, blueprints, wiring diagrams, SOPs, and quality standards.
• Operate assigned equipment, perform material movements, and complete operator-level cleaning and maintenance.
• Support daily and monthly production goals while following safety requirements and using required PPE.
• Maintain a clean workplace through 5S and lean initiatives and contribute to safety and process improvements.
• Cross-train within the department and help train new production team members.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 6–12 months of prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, time management, attention-to-detail, quality, and safety skills.
• Basic math, reading, and computer skills, including the ability to read measuring devices.
• Basic ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings and use basic, pneumatic, and power tools.
• Ability to safely operate production and material movement equipment and regularly lift, carry, or position objects up to 50 pounds.
