Process Development Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Hsinchu, Taiwan

Salary: NT$1,629,503.39–NT$2,204,622.23 TWD

What you will do

• Continuously develop and improve existing semiconductor manufacturing processes and technologies while maintaining quality and delivery timelines.
• Plan and conduct feasibility studies, experiments, and technical investigations, including protocol preparation and performance analysis.
• Analyze technical problems, identify root causes, and develop practical solutions and new technical concepts.
• Collaborate with hirify.global teams, customers, universities, and research organizations on technology development.
• Provide scientific, technical, and customer support to engineering, product management, marketing, sales, and other departments.
• Attend conferences, training sessions, and customer or other professional visits as required.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Physics, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Semiconductor Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong research skills and interest in hands-on experimental technology development.
• Experience planning, executing, and analyzing experiments, evaluating data, and preparing technical reports.
• Ability to perform root-cause analysis and develop practical solutions to technical challenges.
• Willingness to develop expertise in semiconductor manufacturing processes, contamination control, vacuum technology, and advanced materials.
• Excellent English communication and documentation skills.
