Process Engineer III (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Tainan, Taiwan. Onsite role with approximately 20% travel; relocation is not available.

What you will do

• Design experiments, collect and analyze process data, and compile technical reports.
• Perform hardware characterization on complex process engineering systems.
• Troubleshoot engineering issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement resolutions.
• Prepare internal product documentation, presentations, and technical reports.
• Engage with customers to resolve process engineering concerns with limited supervision.
• Partner with vendors and suppliers and implement new technologies, products, and analytical instrumentation.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Physics, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
• More than 3 years of hands-on experience in thin-film or process engineering.
• Experience with PVD, vacuum systems, optical coatings, semiconductor manufacturing, or display manufacturing.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and support customer-facing activities and travel.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond flexibly to urgent engineering issues.
