Engineer II, Process Engineering (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Maintain a safety-first culture through equipment, process, and behavioral audits, risk identification, and corrective actions.
• Develop and execute strategies and projects to expand manufacturing capacity, reduce variation and cost, and improve product yields.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues, address internal and external customer concerns, and mentor factory personnel.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis activities for significant failures and prevent recurrence.
• Create, update, standardize, and consolidate process documentation, including design documents, process flows, recipes, work instructions, and PIDs.
• Prepare capital investment requests, lead small capital projects, and provide manufacturing expertise throughout project initiation, execution, and startup.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of equipment supporting chemical synthesis, purification, or packaging.
• Strong English communication skills are required.
• Experience with PFDs, P&IDs, Control Logic Diagrams, instrumentation selection, valve and line sizing, and ERPs.
• Understanding of materials of construction and experience with FMEA or other risk-based methods.
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds, wear PPE, and travel domestically or internationally for engineering projects and escalations up to 10%.
