Clinical Content Producer (Healthcare)

Location: Cranbury, New Jersey, United States; hybrid work schedule

Salary: $80,000–$90,000 per year, depending on qualifications, with eligibility for an annual bonus or commission incentive.

What you will do

• Build and maintain relationships with 20–30 key opinion leaders within an assigned therapeutic area.
• Plan and execute multimedia content calendars connected to therapeutic trends, product launches, and medical congresses.
• Host and moderate in-studio or virtual video interviews and recurring discussion-based programs.
• Write or outline KOL discussion guides, assign and edit print and digital content, and oversee production from concept through layout.
• Travel to medical meetings to conduct interviews and produce timely written and multimedia coverage.
• Monitor clinical data, drug pipeline developments, treatment guidelines, and FDA updates while partnering with sales and marketing teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in healthcare journalism, scientific communications, or multimedia content production.
• Experience hosting or producing video and editorial programs in a healthcare or scientific context.
• Ability to manage complex content projects and deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Strong medical and scientific understanding, with the ability to translate complex data into engaging content.
• Skills in video creation and editing, written, verbal, and on-camera communication, CMS platforms, Brightcove, YouTube, and AI-assisted content tools; willingness to travel is required.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree such as MS, MPH, PharmD, PhD, NP/PA, or RN.
• Experience in oncology, managed care and pharmacy, specialty healthcare, or scientific and commercial innovation.
• Experience mentoring or overseeing Content Associates.
