Plant Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: St. Joseph, Missouri, United States; onsite at the manufacturing facility

What you will do

• Lead plant operations across Production, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Materials, Human Resources, and Finance.
• Direct manufacturing, financial, and operational activities to achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People goals.
• Promote a zero-incident safety culture and maintain compliance with OSHA, food safety, product quality, and regulatory standards.
• Develop manufacturing strategies, continuous improvement programs, budgets, and cost controls to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Define performance goals, monitor results, and develop high-performing cross-functional teams.
• Partner with Quality and Procurement to ensure production and purchased materials meet customer specifications.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least 10 years of progressive operations experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong business acumen and experience managing P&L performance.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with union contract administration and labor relations.
• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams and delivering measurable results.
