Plant Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Kirksville Plant, Kirksville, Missouri, United States

Base salary: $164,200–$205,200 per year, plus performance-based bonus eligibility.

hirify.global operates a manufacturing plant where this role leads production, operational, financial, safety, and continuous improvement activities.

What you will do

• Guide department managers in labor utilization strategies and operational scheduling as production demands change.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, good manufacturing practices, and quality specifications.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on labor, waste, indirect costs, materials, and production efficiency.
• Partner with Engineering, Maintenance, and Continuous Improvement to reduce equipment downtime, optimize process flows and plant layouts, and coordinate shutdowns and startups.
• Develop operating budgets, review labor standards, monitor plant spending, and support cost accounting and variance reduction.
• Collaborate with Human Resources, R&D, corporate offices, and plant management on policy development, employee development, new product processes, production runs, and costing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Prior plant management experience highly preferred.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• Ability to communicate effectively and influence employees at all levels.
• Work is based at the Kirksville Plant in Kirksville, Missouri.
