Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: Geismar, Louisiana, United States; onsite

Salary: $25.95–$35.05 per hour, paid weekly

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, electronic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Repair production-line equipment, including conveyor belts, packaging, grinding, and stacking systems.
• Install or assist with installing machinery and equipment.
• Perform cutting, welding, and light steel fabrication.
• Inspect and adjust equipment and assist with diagnosing machinery malfunctions.
• Complete assigned maintenance duties and related tasks.

Requirements

• Prior relevant maintenance experience.
• Manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Ability to perform prolonged repetitive physical movements, including standing, climbing, bending, kneeling, and reaching overhead.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to read numbers and product descriptions, maintain written records, monitor controls, push buttons, and perform basic math.
• Willingness to learn on the job in a fast-paced environment.
