Manufacturing Maintenance Technician (Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatic & Hydraulic Systems)

Location: Full-time, onsite in Bend, Oregon, USA; off-shift work and a rotating 4x10 schedule are required.

Salary: $30–40 per hour, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, lubrication, dismantling, reassembly, and readiness checks on industrial manufacturing machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using schematics, manuals, measurement instruments, and vendor support.
• Support equipment, documentation, work-system, and process improvements, including participation in kaizen teams.
• Fabricate machine parts by turning, milling, drilling, shaping, welding, grinding, cutting, and forming materials.
• Maintain parts and supply inventories, place orders, and coordinate production restart activities.
• Communicate with production, engineering, health and safety, supply chain, operators, maintenance personnel, and external vendors.

Requirements

• Associate degree in an industrial machinery-related field.
• One to three years of experience in an industrial plant setting.
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems maintenance, with strong troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations, including LOTO, fall protection, and hot work requirements.
• Good computer, communication, report-writing, and time-management skills.
• Availability for off-shift work and a rotating 4x10 schedule.

Nice to have

• CAD/CAM software experience, particularly SolidWorks or Autodesk Fusion 360.
