Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: Valley, Nebraska, United States; onsite plant and production equipment work

Starting pay: $39.76/hour plus a $1.25/hour shift differential for second- or third-shift work.

What you will do

• Operate machine and hand tools, including saws, grinders, drills, sanders, taps, and welding equipment.
• Perform construction, fabrication, repair, and adjustment work using steel, sheet metal, plastic, and wood.
• Move, install, level, grout, set up, and start plant and production equipment.
• Install mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic piping systems.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, and electronic repairs and preventive maintenance on plant, facilities, and production equipment.
• Maintain tool inventories, work records, time entries, data, orderly work areas, and compliance with safety policies.

Requirements

• Completed and verified two-year technical degree or higher in a maintenance-related field.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.
• Availability for a fixed second shift from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. or third shift from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, regular overtime, and short-notice shift coverage.
• Ability to follow blueprints, sketches, verbal instructions, and workplace safety requirements.
