Technology Strategy and Delivery Lead (Healthcare/Insurance)

Location: Metro Detroit Area, Michigan. Hybrid work with flexibility to work remotely, but not fully remote. Travel to the Farmington Hills office and client sites within the US and Canada is required when requested.

Salary: $195,000–$225,000 annually, depending on experience, plus profit sharing.

What you will do

• Lead technology strategy engagements with C-level executives, senior management, and subject matter experts.
• Document current-state environments, perform gap analyses, define future-state solution architectures, and build strategic roadmaps with architects.
• Assemble and lead cross-functional consulting and client teams ranging from a few people to more than 100.
• Manage projects hands-on from kickoff through launch, including scope, budget, resources, stakeholder communication, and daily execution.
• Tailor agile delivery practices, manage project boards, run ceremonies, remove obstacles, and maintain team momentum.
• Support presales activities, proposals, project estimation, and identification of follow-on opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer building enterprise solutions.
• 2+ years leading agile software development teams.
• 2+ years leading or participating in strategy engagements as a consultant.
• 5+ years in a technology consulting firm and 5+ years combined experience in healthcare and/or insurance.
• Strong presentation, communication, emotional intelligence, ownership, and stakeholder-alignment skills.
