Pharmaceutical Operator

Location: Charlottesville, Virginia, United States; onsite production facility and clean-room work required.

Pay: $25–$30 per hour, depending on experience. Non-exempt position.

hirify.global is a Virginia-based contract manufacturing organization specializing in small-batch sterile filling of injectable pharmaceuticals from clinical trials through commercial production.

What you will do

• Operate manufacturing and production equipment, including washers, autoclaves, dry-heat ovens, heat sealers, and ultrasonic cleaners.
• Perform production operations according to batch records and standard operating procedures.
• Maintain, assemble, and review batch records, production logs, protocols, reports, and other controlled documentation.
• Write and review SOPs, master batch records, and operation deviation reports.
• Perform production and maintenance activities in the aseptic processing area.
• Supervise contract production employees when applicable and maintain inventory, order, and cleanliness in production areas.

Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or GED; an associate or bachelor's degree is desirable.
• At least one year of manufacturing experience required; three or more years strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and write English; English proficiency is required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, move objects weighing up to 50 pounds, bend, reach, and work in close proximity to other employees.
• Ability to work for extended uninterrupted periods in a clean room and maintain neat, accurate records with minimal supervision.
• Work visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Clean-room experience.
• Associate or bachelor's degree.
• Three or more years of manufacturing experience.
