Manufacturing Associate (Biotechnology)

Location: Onsite at EyePoint’s Northbridge Facility, Watertown, Massachusetts, United States

Salary range: $25.96–$36.54 USD

What you will do

• Perform manufacturing, assembly, labeling, packaging, and inspection operations for combination products in a GMP environment.
• Follow SOPs, batch records, work instructions, production schedules, quality requirements, and safety standards.
• Complete GMP documentation accurately and contemporaneously according to Good Documentation Practices.
• Handle in-process materials and finished goods, including staging, issuing, and reconciliation.
• Conduct in-process inspections, line clearances, room setup, changeovers, and cleanroom maintenance.
• Report quality, safety, equipment, and process issues and support investigations, corrective actions, maintenance, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic understanding of GMP and quality system requirements, with the ability to follow detailed procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, accurate documentation, organization, and communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lb, wear PPE and cleanroom gowning, and perform standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions for extended periods.
• Ability to work onsite and complete a required eye exam.

Nice to have

• 0–2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, combination product, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
• Associate degree, technical certification, or coursework in manufacturing, engineering, life sciences, or a related discipline.
