Experienced Diesel Truck/Fleet Mechanic (Diesel)

Location: Marks, Mississippi, USA; on-site fleet maintenance role

What you will do

• Repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel trucks, refuse bodies, chassis, and related fleet equipment.
• Diagnose and repair engines, diesel fuel systems, aftertreatment systems, and emissions-related issues.
• Service air and hydraulic brakes, suspension, drivetrain, steering, HVAC, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Use scan tools and electronic diagnostic equipment to identify malfunctions and multi-system issues.
• Perform line maintenance, welding, fabrication, inspections, and road repairs.
• Complete required company training and support drivers operating the fleet.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience working as a technician on heavy-duty trucks.
• Ability to diagnose multi-system issues and demonstrate strong technical expertise.
• Ability to perform inspections and repairs in heavy-truck or automotive suspension, steering, engine, transmission, brake, electrical, hydraulic, drivetrain, and diesel-emissions systems.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• ASE Heavy Truck Certifications T1–T8, LNG/CNG experience, and Class B or higher CDL are advantageous but not required; CDL B is preferred.
