Senior Maintenance Manager (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead maintenance operations for a commercial baking facility with hourly associates and management staff.
• Analyze and resolve technical maintenance issues while minimizing equipment downtime.
• Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs, including MRO processes and CMMS-based reporting.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, lean programs, capital improvement projects, and long-term operational planning.
• Manage department budgets, cost controls, safety programs, and environmental protection programs.
• Coach and develop maintenance managers, supervisors, mechanics, and other associates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 10 or more years of hands-on management experience in maintenance and engineering within a medium to large food plant.
• Operational knowledge of electrical circuitry, refrigeration, fuel-burning equipment, and machine mechanics.
• Conceptual knowledge of PLC programming; PLC programming proficiency is ideal.
• Knowledge of lean tools or a similar statistical process and control system.
• Strong leadership, teamwork, communication, organizational, and computer skills.

Nice to have

• PLC programming experience.
• AIB certification.
