Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Muscatine, Iowa, United States; onsite at the Muscatine Factory

Salary: $77,800–$97,300 gross annual base salary, plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus

What you will do

• Direct maintenance personnel and coordinate corrective and preventive maintenance to support production schedules, quality, cost, and safety objectives.
• Improve equipment reliability, maintenance methods, and processing systems to reduce downtime, production losses, and operating costs.
• Develop preventive maintenance procedures, maintenance logs, operational standards, and corrective actions.
• Lead maintenance and repair activities across electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, utility, boiler, and industrial machinery systems.
• Analyze downtime, support factory improvement projects, and implement process improvements using Six Sigma, Lean, and the hirify.global Management System.
• Supervise employee development and performance management while coordinating with contractors, suppliers, consultants, Human Resources, and plant leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field is strongly preferred.
• 1–5 years of related leadership experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Familiarity with maintenance management system operations.
• Understanding of direct and overhead cost systems.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule covering days, afternoons, midnights, and weekends.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, utility, ammonia refrigeration, and boiler systems is relevant to the role.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing and maintaining TPM systems.
• Experience using, troubleshooting, and programming Allen Bradley PLCs.
• Understanding of ammonia refrigeration and boiler systems.
