What you will do

• Lead the US, Mexico, and Brazil Customs Team and report to the Global Head.
• Manage and further develop customs and trade compliance programs to mitigate company risk.
• Oversee classifications, valuations, training programs, manuals, export controls, broker strategy, and related customs topics.
• Ensure compliance with the IMMEX program in Mexico and support customs cost mitigation, including Section 301 tariffs.
• Support global projects involving export controls and free trade agreements.
• Review legal changes, advise on complex supply chains, and support internal and external customs audits and self-assessments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in a similar role.
• Automotive customs experience.
• In-depth knowledge of US, Mexican, and Brazilian customs and Customs and Border Protection regulations.
• Working knowledge of CBP portals and websites.

• Experience in manufacturing, purchasing, legal, or logistics.
